One Venue, Three Simultaneous Experiences: Alt Sound at WEDS
WEDS is a two-day event for professionals in the event and wedding industry. A general conference was held on the first day, and thematic sessions were held on the second, culminating in an evening award ceremony with a gala dinner. All in one Rixos hall in Almaty, which had to be transformed into several independent formats.
Objective
Dividing common space into three fully functional event zones operating simultaneously.
Designing an audio system that prevented sound from spilling between sessions - that was the client’s priority.
Providing lighting system, rigging, and production infrastructure for both the daytime conference and the evening scenario.
Bringing the creative director’s vision to life by creating an immersive “Black Room” area using a minimal amount of equipment.
What We Delivered
Configured sound equipment for each of the three event zones, ensuring clear, focused audio without interference between sections.
Installed truss structures and chain hoists to provide the required height and flexible positioning for equipment.
Created the immersive Black Room photo area exactly as envisioned by the creative director: deep black surroundings, point light, and no unnecessary elements. The challenge was to achieve a strong visual effect without cluttering up the equipment. And we managed this.

The organizers praised the smooth execution, noting that the event ran exactly as planned without technical issues or adjustments.
Following the WEDS, we continued to cooperate with the organizing team and have already implemented the next project together.
